Tax ID question...

I have an online radio station, synister-radio.com, and I am interested in selling some band merch from the site. Do I need to get a Tax ID number to do so?

2. If you have employees

you need an ID number. Profit from selling your merch would be reported under your Soc Sec#, assuming you are a sole proprietor. But you must be, otherwise you would already have a TIN!
