i need to be able to take credit cards. i will be doing 5 or 6 art fairs this year

i need to be able to take credit cards. i will be doing 5 or 6 art fairs this year
lots of other artists have accounts where they can still use the old fashioned swipe machine, and they call the sales in at the end of the day. banks here in chicago don't take those forms any more, and want fees in the $30-50/mo range.
i see there are a lot of apps for iphone. that seems like a good route to go. $15/mo seems to be the going rate for that.
anybody else do the weekend fair route?

1. Check out Costco, if they have one near you.
They sell merchant accounts.
