1. Colour out of Space is the only one I ever read.

3. It didn't make much of an impression on me. But I really liked
this book called "Resume with Monsters", by William Browning Spencer: What if Cthulhu and his minions attempted a corporate take-over in Silicon Valley tech-company?

I guess I like ironic spoofs and derivatives of Lovecraft more than I like Lovecraft.

4. Mountains...
I read em all. Have the Arkham house books. I recomend them if you like his work.

I liked Mountains of Madness. It just felt like an adventure/horror movie to me. Not so much horror like slasher horror, but psychological weirdness horror.

I still think it'd make a great movie.

5. In production.
Good chance they'll screw it up, but you never know.

6. Depends on how 'adapted' it is.
If they over 'adapt' it it's done. If they don't spend enough money on effects it's done.

I'd hate to see it be some sci-fi channel movie. It really deserves top notch treatment.

7. I would choose "Pickman's Model" or "Charles Dexter Ward"...
over any of these. "The Colour Out of Space" is certainly not Lovecraft at his best.
