I'm putting together a little feature film project with Nichelle that is geared toward enlightening the populace about torture and this administration. Nichelle is on board, in fact she's already rehearsed!

This smart and gripping tale of torture and twisted sex follows a ‘military contractor’ who returns from Iraq pursued by a terrifying secret that an alluring, ambitious doctor ultimately reveals.

1. She still, to this day, is hotter than fire.

And a fine actress to boot. Wish she had gotten more significant roles in the movies.

Sounds like a neat project - she's been extremely active in various causes over the years, I'm glad to see that hasn't changed.

2. She's Coming to Shore Leave in July

I'll have to ask her about it. I've met many stars over my time in fandom, but she's the ONLY one I've ever gone "fangirl" over. Uhura was my favorite growing up, because she was the only woman on the bridge! Black, white, green, I didn't care. She was the girl in the all-boys club!
