AvP: R

[and-justice-for-all]

I went and saw AvP:R opening night and I thought it was a major improvement from the first. It picked right up where the previous left off and was pretty much a none stop brawl.

I enjoy the franchise, I also like seeing the Xenomorph and the Predator in action. Since no one seems to want to pick up the pieces of the beheaded ALIEN saga, I will take the AvP films. Which seem to be prequals becasue they all occure in present as did the Predator films.

Was there any narrative connection to the Alien films, such as "Bishop" appearing in the first AVP?

Feel free to "spoil" it for me--it won't really lessen my enjoyment of the film, once I get to see it. (Or you can PM if you don't want to spoil it for anyone else!)
