Torchwood season 2
To my great surprise I'm finding myself enjoying the current season of Torchwood. Season 1 started strongly before turning into a strong suckfest, so my expectations were lowered. I have enjoyed every season 2 episode except "Meat". What do others think?

1. He's dead! Wait, no he's not. Oh hell. He is. But not quite.
And the real question on everyone's mind... When will Owen have sex with Suzie and in what strange contorted position?

Actually I've got to admit I'm rather enjoying it too. I really liked the episode with Toshiko's cryogenically suspended soldier/once-a-year love interest.

2. Heh
I wonder how they decide on who gets first crack at bedding the latest alien and/or time traveller who comes through the rift? Is it a rota, or do they call shotgun?

3. I think it's whoever can toss Noel Clarke the farthest. A very popular game I'd imagine.
The one thing that bothers me though is the continued emphasis on spirituality in Doctor Who and Torchwood, and not the good kind of spirituality. All the technobabble (and here they could learn a thing or two from Star Trek and SG-1) to disguise new age woo.

But... this season it's been pretty well done new age woo and as fiction I can accept it. Otherwise I'd have to hate His Dark Materials.
