So I finally picked up Ilium by Dan Simmons the other day.

At the same time I started reading the Iliad with my son at night :) As it happens his history class is learning about Ancient Greece too so this seemed a natural thing to do when we were looking for the next thing to read together and he in fact expressed interest.

So far it's been pretty fun.
