Poll question: Who's The Fifth Cylon?
Okay, BSG fans... Who do you think the final Cylon skin job model will be?

1. Boxy will make a return
He was standing on a box in that scene where "Number 3" is looking at a bright light obscured (from the audience perspective) figure that I guess is supposed to be the last one.

Something's just not right about that kid.

Or was Boxy the robodog?

Gosh, it's been so long...

4. Wow, that's hardcore
I was just glad that I could remember the name Ovion, which I confess that I recal only because of the cool four-armed action figure.

5. Has to be Starbuck!
The question really is are the Cylons already on Earth?

6. I'd be a bit cautious with the phrase "Has to be..."
with this writing team on this series :)

I don't think it is Starbuck, to 'neat', to easy I think, there has to be a connection a bridge of sorts between the Cylon agenda and the path the humans are headed down and Baltar is one side of that there to my mind at least, needs to be another a sort of balance. I think the "5" are a separate perhaps independent faction with a different agenda or perhaps they are the ones manipulating both sides and either they are using Baltar and Starbuck to push and pull each side or perhaps some faction is using Baltar and the 5 are using Starbuck.

I do think you're asking a very good question though. "Are the Cylons already on Earth?" I would add, and which ones (what faction?)

7. I think it might be safe to assume that the 5th is on the ship BSG right now
since Caprica 6 said that she could feel them and they were all close.

9. Starbuck would be too obvious
However, that being said, the writers could go all reverse pyschology on us! ;)

I still think that it'll be somebody else. Starbuck really is a bit of mis-direction, I feel. Who else? I can't even guess right now. Could be a brand new character for all we know at this point. I think that they played their hand quite well by revealing the Four. To have another member of the cast (either major or minor) be revealed as being the 5th just seems, like it's that one thing too much. May have to eat crow later tho. BUT that's one of the great reasons about this show - you think you know, but you don't know, you know? :D

10. well . . .

Adama or Lee - no. They'd have to both be cylons to have shared the mutual memories of Lee's childhood.

Baltar - too obvious and, well, he wants it too much. I think that would be a weak script choice.

Starbuck - A bit obvious given the lapse of time and memory. But maybe that's the effect of being pulled through a wormhole. As to why her raptor was brand new - well, if the cylons created a new one for her, they could certainly have made it look just like the old one and put in records and such. I am curios as to what the explanation will be for this. I favor Starbuck as being some sort of cylon experiment unless the series is going to go supernatural with her visions of the eye of jupiter.

Roslyn - My choice of the main characters, which the other 5 have been. Not obvious, but there have been some hints.

Someone else? We'll see. I don't think so though.

11. Zak Adama, and a couple others
Since Ron Moore said the final Cylon is not in the Last Supper photo.....

Zak Adama has been kicking around in my head for a while. And since Lee brought him up with his father, asking how they would feel if he came back as a Cylon, it made my spider senses all tingly. It would hurt the Adamas and Starbuck big time. And given the information about the "Caprica" prequel and the Adama family's involvement with the development of the Cylons, it seems to fit.

Tom Zarek, just for the sheer coolness of having Richard Hatch as a Cylon.

Doc Cottle...I've seen this one floating around on the net. Not sure about it, but he seems sympathetic to the Cylons.

I've also seen people mention Billy (no reason), Dualla (lame, and no one likes her anyway), Gaeta (meh), and Cally (maybe, but unlikely).

It has to be someone with major emotional impact and sheer WTF factor. My big money is on Zak.
