I don't watch much television (BSG comments)....

I haven't owned a television since, I dunno-- early 1990s, and then only for a brief time. It'd been ten years before that and I haven't watched TV since except for the odd occasion in motels and such. I'd never seen Battlestar Galactica before last week.

I watched a couple of the season 4 episodes on hulu.com. It seemed pretty intriguing so I downloaded the pilot episodes and the first season. I've watched most of season one now-- only three episodes left and the second season is downloading as we speak. Holy frack, Batman! I am blown away. I guess BSG fans will know exactly what I'm talking about so I'll just leave it at that. What an incredible story. I've been watching three episodes a night, more-or-less.

Like I say, I stopped watching television decades ago. BSG has WAY exceeded my expectations, x 1000. I just can't say enough.

there's nothing inherently bad about TV any more than a stage, it's just different and to often used to broadcast crap.
