The Star Trek dark mirror universe- Yay or nay?

The DS9 and ST:Enterprise episodes were on this week. They should try make a movie in that setting.

2. I really, really hated the DS9 episodes set in the Dark Universe

I confess that I don't recall them with great clarity, but I remember truly disliking them when I last saw them.

After the mild furor that resulted from Abrams setting Star Trek in an alternate reality, it would be a big mistake to set a film in yet another alternate reality, even if that universe already had an established history.

Having said that, I've always liked the ST:TOS episode, and the ST:ENT two-parter was quite enjoyable as well.

Much darker than the normally cheerful Trek universe. I don't remember much about the DS9 version but the ENT two-part episode was really well done. Empress Hoshi... :rofl:

South Park did a take on the mirror universe once. IIRC, Mirror Cartman had a goatee but actually nice.
