1. Heh, I made a poll like this in the Lounge once.
Grr, where has it disappeared to. Oh well.

Anyways, my vote goes to the NCC-1701-A. Still the most beautiful Enterprise, in my opinion.

5. Have to go with E
Then D and NX-01. The earlier models, look like, well, models. Enterprise E is evil looking.

edit: go ahead and vote for 1701-D, well make that one the 1701-D 2 and 3 nacelle models.

9. I specialize in making excuses
for trek problems, timeline inconsitincies, continuity violations, science no-nos and the lot...

to put my skeptic, nitpicking brain to rest.

11. Gotta go with the "E"
Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 03:38 AM by Technowitch
They somehow got it just right.

The "J" looks cool, but conveys some weird anorexic vibe.

As for the "D"--I never liked it. Looked too... well, squishy.

13. Gotta be D
none of the others have a Ten Forward. Doesn't the view from inside count, too?

14. 1701-B
I always loved the look of the Excelsior class. I dunno. Just big and bulky. It looked just huge and slow, but was supposedly a really fast ship. We saw it a few times I think. In the third movie, and the 6th movie with Sulu right? Then a few times in the series, and the Enterprise-B itself.

I just like it's lines I guess.

15. Yay! another 1701-B supporter
I like its big bulky look, sort of like an 18 wheeler of starships, yet at the same time its sleek and long, really looks like it means business.

The excelsior appeared in the 3rd and 6th movie as well as an episode of voyager (forget the name, tuvok does mindmeld to a time when he was on the excelsior). Excelsior class ships appear innumberable times, but, sadly, the 1701-B only appears on Generations and occasionally as a model of ships in the briefing room.

17. NCC-1701-A
I think it just has that classic enterprise form without looking too archaic.

I am currently playing the trek game for xbox, and get to see (and blow up) a lot of the classic looking ships. Damn hard, though - only game I consider using the cheats necessary for an enjoyable experience.
