takes hot button political issues and morphs them into trials? Mad cow a couple of weeks ago and the influence of our agricultural lobbies on legislation. And last night, using torture as a justification for an advantageous outcome. Very interesting discussion of this administration's policy on torture...without actually being a discussion on this administration outright. Very clever show. The writers are to be congratulated. "Never ever let the other side frame the issues" Denny Crane. Wish the Democratic leadership would follow ole Denny's advice.

The entire cast, starting with Shatner and Spader, is terrific.

in the episode last week when Daniel Shore was charged with inciting assault. It's an excellent show--a great blend of comedy and social relevance, not to mention good writing and acting performances.
