Pam Anderson's new show "Stacked"

I'm surprised. It's funny. Twisted, but funny.
She does a good job of poking fun at herself.

Christopher Lloyd is in it, too.

"I was right, radiation is harmful. I should tell them I told
you so."

"Tell them."

"I can't. They're all dead. Telling their families would be
like rubbing it in."

It's on FAUX though.

1. I'm surprised to hear that it's not dreadful
I'll have to find a torrent and check it out.

Fox already has one gem in Arrested Development, I guess it's not out of the realm of possibility that they snag another.

2. She is playing herself.

It's like I know she's wink-winking at me, but
I like it anyway.

And I thought it just seemed out cool that a silly
sitcom is talking about nuclear physics.

Bosses of PAMELA ANDERSON's upcoming sitcom STACKED have beenforced to cut reels of tape from the first episode - because the amused live audience laughed so much

This person didn't like it though.

3. What a waste of 30 minutes
The dumbest shows keep getting aired and then re-upped year after year, while we have to fight to keep quality programs on the air (see below) because the American people have the intelligence of a mutt.

4. Have an agenda much?

So I have the intelligence of a mutt, huh?
Gee, thanks.

:sarcasm: off

5. Saw it, wasn't too impressed overall
Although Chris Lloyd still continues to excel even as he approaches seventy. He alone might be worth the price of admission.

6. Caught the repeat
It's pretty so so.

It could hang around for a couple of seasons, maybe more if they're willing to take the focus off Pam and put it on a seemingly capable ensemble cast.

I love the casting of Marissa Winokur as Katrina, and Chris Lloyd is a great TV draw. He was underused in that pilot though.

The dynamic of Gavin and his separation from his bitchy wife is lifted directly from Two and a Half Men.

What else can I say... Already it's a better show than Joey, but that's not saying a great deal.

On a scale of one to ten (with 1 being Mr Belvedere and 10 being Seinfeld) I'd say it's a 4.5 with room for improvement.

I'll take the wet noodle beating if I did.

8. Oh, of course not.
I didn't mean to sound like I found it worthless. I was just kind of breaking it down a little.

I think there is actually something to work with there. I like the premise and the setting a good deal.

In any event, I appreciate your opinion and am glad to be able to discuss what is good and bad about the show overall.

I will say that there are at least 10 shows currently airing that are significantly worse than Stacked. ("According to Jim", I'm looking at YOU!)

;-)

9. Yeah, most of those fat guy/skinny wife shows leave me cold.
King of Queens, Jim, the Jamie Gertz one (don't
remember the name).

Pam's one of a kind. Also, the dialogue seemed
smart, appropriate for people who are in a bookstore
and who read a lot. I liked that, too.

:)
