I hope you didn't miss "Studio 60"....
I pretty nice replacement for The West Wing - not by topic but by style.

Beats having another "criminal investigation" show...

1. It's being repeated on Bravo tonight, I think
The first night left me hoping for better but I'll be watching it for sure.

2. I enjoyed it, but it was not in West Wing's class
I am looking forward to the next few episodes to see how it shakes out.

6. I have to agree
But it must be given a chance to stand on its own merits. Comparing anything to The West Wing right now is unfair. I can't say I was bowled over by Studio 60 but I appreciated the change of pace it offered from most prime-time fare. I'm half wondering if it wouldn't have been better to have a 2-hour premiere in order to introduce and flesh out the characters a little more.

I'll be watching next week, though.

3. I wasn't able to muster up the desire to watch it
I like Sorkin's stuff usually, but I am SO disinterested in the subject matter that I'm probably gonna pass on this thing altogether.

Maybe I'll come to it later.

5. I loved the first 20 minutes, in particular Hirsch's "lobotomized" speech.
unfortunately I have a hard time watching the two "leads". Not my favorite actors by any stretch.
