DISCLAIMER: This may be satire. Some claim it is and others "have proof" that it isn't. I just thought it was funny, more than anything else. So, make of it what you will.

CBS, the parent network of the popular "Survivor" franchise, has reported that they have deleted one episode of Survivor from the current Vanuatu Series. CEO Bill Fleming reports that a combination of the overwhelmingly lesbian cast and the ascendance of the American Christian right wing has resulted in so much edited footage that they were running out of material.
Said Fleming, "The usually popular episode where the contestants reunite with loved ones was absolutely brutal on the editors. We caught enough flack from what was aired, but you should have seen what was edited out. It was unbelievable. I mean these girls were giving tongue and feeling each other up. It was really hard to decide what to delete with all that girl on girl loving going on, but after watching the footage for, oh, about 12 straight hours we finally decided. We were nervous enough with Ami and Scout already being "out", but when LeAnn starts "loving" her best friend, and
Julie gets all plutonic with her male "best friend", the warning bells started going off."

My favorite quote:
"We didn't realize Scout was a lesbian until the final contract signing. We just though she was one of those widowed grandmothers who relax and go dyke after thier husband finally drops dead."
