Anyone watch the return of Lost last evening. IT was a great episode. Juliet has been on the island for about 3 years, far shorter than I would have thought. Plus she is a prisoner there. There was the weird kubrickesque brainwashing room. And I loved it when Juliet capped the asshole.

1. I'd say the story finally made some progress! |
|
It looks like we'll get to see some of the original cast members again back on the main island and we're beginning to get at least a vague idea of what's going on -- some medical research company conducting some sort of experiments that perhaps have to do with cloning or testtube babies or ?

I'd say its more than that. I think Mittelos BioScience, which is an anagram for Lost Time, is part of the Dharma Int. Dharma was doing both time and reproduction tests. I suspect it is all part of the islands "healing powers."

3. Oooh, I didn't catch the anagram! Cool! |

Yes, it's quite a web, isn't it? Have you ever gone to any of the Lost discussion boards? I haven't this year but there are lots of folks out there who spend hours analyzing every clue! :)

I used to visit them all the time, but work blocks most forums nowadays. There is a good one called thetailsection that I got into during season 2. I was there right before the new episodes stopped in November. Its a good site.
I am enjoying this season, though I hated the long wait for a new episode. I am not sure this season split was such a good idea. we will see.

5. Cool! Did you notice the return of another anagram from season 1? |
|
Ethan Rom, whose name is an anagram for "Other Man", was back for this episode!

6. Ethan scares the crap out of me |
|
He has such an evil character. I love it. Once I saw him walking in the hallway, I assumed they were on the island and in a bunker and it was a flashback to before Ethan died. Then when Juliet opened th ecurtains and we saw the city, I was in shock. Great episode.

1. Who is the 27 year old woman with the f'ed up uterus? 2. Edmund Burke? I love how the writers toss in these philosophers. Plus I took special joy from seeing the modernization of that conservative prick hit by a bus. 3. That Clockwork Orange scene was damned fantastic. I love that Sawyer was hyp-mo-tized by it. 4. Kate is a bad ass. The "it wasn't a bluff" scene increased my crush on her. 5. Did anyone catch that Carl's cell was the same number as Princess Leia's cell during the classic Wookie trick Sawyer refers to? 6. What the hell is Jack going to do now? 7. Denise the Menace with her slingshot is just hilarious.
I LOVED this episode. Can't wait for the next 15 episodes.
