A Heros question
Is the cheerleader's friend, the one who shot the video of her death defying doings, gay? He gets called that a few times, I am just wondering.

2. Sounds like you already know the answer.
Originally, yes, the part was written as a gay character. (Comments kept in confirm that.) The actor did not like that and his agent fought tooth and nail to have it changed-actually wanted him changed into her love interest. (There will supposedly be a love interest for her next season but it's not Zach.) A few execs at NBC became skittish w/ the ages involved and requested that it not necessarily be changed but "glossed over". (Meaning he can still be gay but never actually come out.)

Anywho, the actor left after scoring a role on the Terminator series they are making for Fox. (I think it's for Fox.)

3. I could spit nails
I am so sick of this crap. We should be able to have gay teens on TV.

4. It was more the actor than anything else.
His publicist ran back to the networks, starting the mess in the first place. He claimed he didn't want to be typecast, even though he knew that his character was gay when he took the role.
