Anyone watching this? Yeah, it's reality fluff, but it's summertime. :P

1. I started to watch, then realized they work for DeBeers. |

I didn't know they found a mine up there. I'm guessing the "Ice Road" has a double meaning.

2. So if they fall through the ice and die, do you cheer? |

 It's only a TV show.

It just seems like another plug for a diamond company. Have they actually fallen through the ice?

9. Oh bull, there is very little mention of DeBeers, other than |
|
the equipment they use. The other deliver site is for BP Ekati mines. This show is about the hazards, bravery and craziness of these whacky fools that attempt to earn a year's salary in 60-90 days.

5. do they actually work for DeBeers? |
|
Or just trucking stuff up to them? I thought they were independent truckers.

They're probably independent truckers, but the mine is where they're trucking their loads. I found it quite boring, and even my 25 year old son, who loves that sort of thing found it a snooze.

7. I actually thought they had several different destinations. |
|
I have watched it several times and I do not know their destinations - so I guess it must be quite boring . . . I really know very little about the show . . . except that I would not drive one of those trucks over a frozen lake - that I do know.

3. I watch it all the time! |
|
Driving on ice is bad enough but when there's a lake under the ice...no thanks! How about that young guy who has taped the holes in the cab because he doesn't have any heat? Br-r-r-r-r-r!

13. That was a pretty good show. |
|
There were some episodes that got really slow, and I didn't like all the drivers, but I guess that's okay, isn't it? That's real life for you. ;)
