Any "Meerkat Manor" fans?

I must have missed an episode...who are the Starsky? I know Mozart used to be with Whiskers and Carlos was a roving male; did they just all band together out of necessity? Where did Kinkajoo come from?

I absolutely love this show but I'm not sure why!

I watched the first season, will have to check TiVO to see what nights it is on and record it. I am frankly getting burned out on news and politics, SOSDD.

6. I rarely get to watch tv anymore

But my daughter reminded me last night that it was coming on and we sat down and watched it together. It's inspirational, dramatic, funny, suspenseful and educational. Reality tv at its best. :-)

Now I tried to determine why it is so good...and I came to the conclusion that it is because I have been a cat lover.....pack leader of sorts all my life. I imagine the same relationship happens with dogs too...Well, we who have always had pets as "family members" can identify with the Meerkats turf/survivor of the fittest and pack behavior thru our own pets.

I have heard that Sean Astin, the narrator of American Program version, that he get's more questions about the Meerkats than Lord of the Rings!

So, there is a massive fan base for the Meerkats.

Sounds like some big "events" are coming up re: Flower. Rats! Interesting reading about Big Si. I'm surprised the crew interfered. They sorta answered the mystery of what happened to Shakespeare.

I love the inflections in Sean Astin's voice when he narrates. Sometimes you forget he's talking about meerkats!

So glad to hear from another meerkater...I thought there was a thread on them last season but it might have been in the Lounge.

7. My daughter told us about the show so I watched a recorded episode last night.

I think I'm hooked, though it was sad that the first time I watched it, one of them died. :(

11. Did you know they're making a movie about Flower's life?

They're going to start with her birth and follow her as she becomes the great leader that she became. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
