I would bet that those people who perceive of "God" as a protector and helper would be voting to make things easy on Eric, while those who think of "God" as someone who tests and challenges, would vote contrary to Eric's interest.
Because, really, "America" is playing the role of "God" in this scenario, handing down Executive decisions about how things have to be done.
The premise was supposed to be that "America's Player" would be playing, collectively, for America -- so, that America *should* instruct Eric to behave in a manner that is best for Eric/America.
But, I think we've all learned how dysfunctional "America" is when it comes to doing what's right or in our best interest.
But to answer your question: yes, America has had Eric do some foolish things, but when I saw him agreeing with America's choice, then I figured, eh, let him get what comes to him.
Do the evicted houseguests all stay together, and do they get to discuss what happened in the house? If they all start comparing notes, it makes it easier for them to decide on the final 2 -- it would be really better if they kept them all separated.
The only thing left on the show to look forward to is to see everyone's reactions when they learn why Eric has been doing what he's been doing. Most likely, though, we won't get to really see their reactions, except for a few seconds. Too bad.
This week sealed it for me, in terms of really disliking D&D, especially Daniele -- the way she suddenly sucked up to Zach was just utterly nauseating.
They are truly a boring bunch. I can't think of one of them who I'd care to meet/know (except Dustin, I liked him).
