Survivor China - Episode 12 Discussion Thread
I think this remains Amanda's game to lose. She was smart to get rid of one of the the only two that can beat her, PG. the only other person left that can beat her is Denise, who I bet Todd, courtney and Amanda all know has to go. None of them can beat her.

I still think Denise made a mistake in not siding with Erik and PG. It was her best chance. As Todd said in this episode, iof he went home he would be possed, but he would give them props for getting him out. He is nto the type to vote based on anger. I think he would have respected Denise. Denise was right, that was the biggest mistakes she made in the game.

The reward challenge was cool looking, but the crossbow did not work great. The Great Wall of China was AMAZING. Denise was smart to take Todd, the biggest player, with her. I would have taken he and Amanda though, instead of Courtney.

The immunity challenge was hard. It was all the same hard challenges back in one quick one. Amanda dominated it and deserved to win. I knew PG was going. Amanda had to get rid of the threat. She will crush Todd and Courtney. Unless Denise wins the next immunity, she is out. Amanda has played a brilliant game and deserves to win. Denise has played good, but her failure to ever look dirty makes her to tough a player to keep around. She should have looked a little bit rougher and more of a threat to lose, then she might have won.

1. I would agree
that Denise's biggest mistake was not taking out Todd. I thought her only recourse to make it into the final three at this point (absent getting the idol next episode but that isn't likely) was to go to Todd and tell him that he brings her into the final three with him or there is NO way he is winning the game. James hates him, JR hates him, and Denise would be enough to assure the loss. All Todd would have to do is convince tagalong Courtney to vote for Amanda and it is a done deal.

4. That might have worked
She really should have flipped on them. She had to see this coming.

5. I knew what the thread was about
I just had to know who left. I find that knowing who is eliminated (especially with The Amazing Race) makes me less stressed out while watching the episode. I can get pretty tense while watching otherwise.

6. At the end of the program, they said there would be 3 more tribal councils.
Doesn't that mean it will be the final two? What if, by some cruel twist of fate, it's Courtney and Todd...who would win? The Great Wall was totally wasted on Courtney. I've had it with her eye-rolling and complaining about everything, especially the meal they were served. She seems pretty needy when it comes to men. She has latched onto Frosti, Eric and Todd. I hope Amanda wins the rest of the immunity challenges. It would have been kinda funny if the women had gotten together last night and voted out Todd! Good for Denise winning 2 rewards and not taking Peih-Gee with her either time!

7. Wow
I did not catch that. Then Amanda may not win this thing. I was counting on one more juror and then the vote. Thats gonna be tough, because there are six on the jury now, and Denise willmake seven. If Amanda goes, its an even number? Am I right on this???

8. Oops! The trailer that said there were 3 more councils,
must have been from the previous week, when there WERE 3 left.

Sorry about that!
