2. Not a great episode

I felt like the church "lamppost" scene was forced. It seemed like they were all rushed to get back there. I did get a kick out of Sayed being in cuffs and Hurley carrying the giant case.

3. Not great but good. Ben got the crap beat out of him. :)

Can't wait for next week's "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham"

4. My question is, why did he get his ass kicked?

He told Jack he had to keep a promise to an old friend. He told Widmore he was going to kill Penny. He was at the Marina when he called Jack and clearly he had been in a fight. I suspect he went after Desmond and Penny. Did he keep his promise???

5. I think that he killed Penny is just too easy.

It has to be more than that. Don't know what it is, but it can't be simple.

I liked the Christ imagery with John on the table with arms outstretched.
