Big Brother - Week 2
Well, the sides have been drawn. As stupid as it is, it seems like the current "us" vs. "them" is who was friends with Brian, the first evictee. Dan seems worried that his loan vote for Brian will cost him, but I think peopel will instead see that as a good thing and that he has some honor. Dan talked to Jesse about his loyalty before he was nominated and Jesse seemed to buy that Dan was loyal based on his loyalty to Brian. Libra is getting cocky now and it may cost her by turning housemates against her.

Jesse HoH room was all photos of him posing. He really is insanely big and he is very proud of his work. I don;t get body building, but he seems to be good at it, so more power to him. It obviously takes dedication. One surprise was that the group of "Brian's friends" was Dan, Renny, Angie, Jerry and KEESHA, who was in the evict Brian group last I heard. I think her dislike for April has moved Keesha to the other side. HAving two barbie wanna bes fight over who gets teh big boobed blond mantle is a bit funny. I don't like either of them. Anyway, the group tries to talk Jesse out of putting up Renny and putting up Dan and Steven or Angie.

the food competition was way fun to watch. Two huge barrels on pillars that leaked wine and the teammates had to catch it and fill up win bottles. Two players from the other team were in the barrels trying to stop up the holes in them. It was very funny. I feel bad for teh slop eaters. Dan tried to make his pitch once, but Ollie would not leave Jessie's side. He finally gets a minute, but its no good. Jessie nominates Steven and Dan.

I fear that my gay cowboy may be on the way out. He is a bigger threat than Dan adn I suspect everyoen else would bounce him. Plus, I think Dan is willing to join in an alliance with otehrs while Steven is just annoyed. Sorry gay cowboy, but unless you win immunity, I think you are gone.

1. Stephen is an odd man
I think he sunk himself when he didn't go up to Jesse's room (who would have thunk the long gay male would not follow a body builder to his bed room). Stephen is on some levels refreshing for a gay man but his latent racism (on the live feeds) leaves me very cold.

2. I'm not watching the live feeds
But I agree Steven made a mistake by not going up to the HOH room. the key is not to give someone a reason to put you up.

5. yeah, I'm not so thrilled with Libra anymore
Especially after reading about/watching her go off on Jerry and Renny. Here is a site I read sometimes that covers the live feeds: http://big-brother-10-blog.blogspot.com/ If you don't want spoilers though, then it is best not to read it.

I wish they'd vote out Dan instead of Steven.

6. What a boring season
I thought nothing could be worse than last season.

I really dislike many of the houseguests. Don't like Jesse, Libra, Renny, April, Michelle. Jerry is so-so, can take or leave him (didn't like his pathetic excuse for betraying Brian, and his "military garb" garbage -- like his honor is attached to an emblem that he can take off or put on when it suits him - bleh). Was ambivalent about Keesha, but like her more now than in the beginning. Like Stephen (and it frikken irks me to no end when the baby Jesse calls him "Steve"), like Memphis, sort of liked Brian, can tolerate Angie. Ollie is neither here nor there for me.

Michelle "what do I look like, stupid?" yes Michelle, yes, that's exactly what you look like (for not taking Dan down so Jesse could put up Libra) - this will bite her in the ass quick.

Libra going off and LYING her ass off about what she said to Renny about her and Jerry, just made me ill. Same way when Jesse did the same thing to Renny the first night (on tv anyway), they both just lie, and funny, but OLD Renny actually was accurate in how she remembered what was said.

Bleh to the whole bunchathem.

Oh, and the biggest surprise for me is that I like DAN the best of the bunch - would not have predicted that one.

7. Week Two - Tuesday Episode
Steven has played a terrible game. He never let his vulnerable self show and he made a huge mistake in not abandoning the Brian side once it became clear they are not in power. He waited too long to make friends. I agree that Jessie's disrespect for not coming to the HOH room is bullshit, but it gave Jesse an excuse, and thats what you have to avoid.

I think Dan is playing well. I disagree with throwning the challange, but his plan to show Jesse that he can be his friend will help. Secret friendships can be of value. Steven should have gone out and talked ot people, not retreated to the bedroom to read. He is makign it easy for everyoen to evict him because he is givign up.

I have to address this here. I have been told that Ollie and April have had sex on the live feeds. I don't watch the feeds, but I got a PM from a friend who does and he sent me to a link. It was under the covers, but it looks like they have taken their relationship to teh next level. I wonder when they will address this on CBS.

Keesha was a fool to show so clearly that her play in the challange was for Steven. Her attempt after teh challenge was not too convincing, but the Libra fight took the attention away from her. Keesha was smart to direct attention to Libra. Jerry was right to confront Libra and Libra came off poorly. she should have chalked it up to being angry about losing, and left it alone. He played her rightinto the fight. I think Jerry is a good player.

Steven made the requisite pitch to Jessie for Michelle to use the veto have Jesse put up Libra. Michele did not bite, but she thought about it. I suspect he is gone tonight.

11. Big Brother - Week Two - EVICTION
So Steven goes home. So much for my early pick. I felt like he was so real and friendly with Julie. If he let that sidwe show in teh house, I bet he would have stayed.

I alos love that Renny, Jerry, Dan and Steven became the floaters. Its really now a four on four alliance, with Dan sort of with Jessie, but not locked up yet. Thats just crazy strategy. With teh next HOH being open to two even groups, yo need to have six to lock up your group. Why the hell either the Ollie group or the Memphis group did not try to pull in Renny and Jerry is beyond me.

I loved Steven's going out speech. That was funny. "Suck it, bitches!"

The alliances both fucked up the HOH in teh beginnign by not putting pairs from teh other alliance up together. I don;t think it was strategy, just stupid, because once it got going they figured it out. Anyway, Keesha won. I bet she will go after teh other alliance. I would put Jessie and Memphis up and brign ti all out in the open. But she may play it safe and nominate Dan and Angie putting the final nail in the Brian's friends coffin.

13. From what I've seen of Dan, I like him the best
I also like Keesha. I think she's playing an honest game, for the most part.

Dan is entertaining to have around, now that Brian and Steven are gone. Since he's a high school teacher, he's got to be creative in keeping people engaged, and he's good at it. I like how he's not sanctimonious but at the same time, sticks to his principles, and won't let them get him to say or do things on TV that he would regret. He seems always aware (for once! finally a houseguest who understands they are on national TV, and doesn't forget it!) that his students could be watching at any moment, and he behaves accordingly (at least of what I have seen). I respect him for that. I found it funny though that when Steven was sad about his imminent eviction and was seeking guidance from Dan and the Bible, that Dan could only seem to steer him to stuff about forgiveness and repentence, lol -- uh Dan, book of Proverbs maybe? Psalms? No, he tells Steven to go read Acts, lol. Very odd, to me, that a Catholic would do that. But what do I know.

14. Dan is a good guy, but is not a great player
I do like him, and respect taht he is playing the game as he lives his life. Keesha so far does not impress me. I was glad she put up Jesse, but I would have put up MEmphis with him and truly weakened the other side. I still think Jesse may go as he is the bigger threat, but we will see.
