Anyone watching the Amazing Race?
I usually am not huge for reality shows but I think this one will be worth watching. Mel and Mike White (Mel founded Soulforce after having ghost written for Falwell) and they have a gay deaf contestant. Also I am so jealous of Europe after seeing those trains.

1. I watch every season
I thought last night's episode was great. The wheels of cheese rolling down the hill had me rolling on the couch! The jump made my hands sweat. The scenery was gorgeous.

I like a number of the couples (for now anyway). A deaf man and his friend won one of the seasons of Amazing Race Asia. I'm rooting for this deaf guy and his mom but I like other couples as well.

2. I wound up wondering how the cheese thing was supposed to be done
clearly it wasn't how those people were doing it.

3. I was convinced that some of the couples would be sent back
to do the cheese thing over for not following instructions. They were supposed to use those flimsy racks to haul the cheese down the hill.

The first episode was very enjoyable. This looks like it will be a good season.

8. Oh, I was laughing so hard at the cheese
That was one of the funniest moments on the Amazing Race. Very nice start to the season.

5. I love this show
The deaf kid and his mom did really well. I hope this continues for them. The son in the father/son team (both gay if I heard that right) had a hat that said something about God or Jesus. Is that the Whites?

We toured Europe by train about 20 years ago. It was awesome. These trains are a bit more modern but I highly recommend it. Germany, Austria, and Switzerland by train was beautiful and on time. It's true you can set your watch by the trains.

I'm looking forward to this season. Why do they always have to have a blonde team though?

6. I'm totally hooked on the Amazing Race.
What an interesting bunch this time around. I doubt that poor older lady from Virginia will make it too far. I know if I was in the race I would have gotten to the bungee jump and said, "See ya." Going out on a limb here for the winners - I'm betting on the 2 stunt double guys.
