Survivor Tocantins: Episode 3 Discussion Thread
Sorry this is up so late. I missed it and had to watch it on tape over the weekend (yes I still use a vcr and tapes). Then the snow in NY yesterday kept my kids from school and me from doing anything but taking care of my kids. Sice its so late, I'll keep my thoughts short.

I thought Timbira should have voted off Erin. I also agree that Brendan would be a far better leader than the coach guy. I so dislike him. Jerry's illness did him in, but he will come back strong and this tribe needs strong bodies right now. Two times in a row they ousted a strong person. I hope it does not come back to haunt them. In Jalapeno, JT is the man. He fishes like a champ. He is safe for awhile.

I always like the idiots walking around blindfolded challenge. Yet again, Debbie's size (and he quiet voice) hurt the tribe. They need to ax her. I am so sad about Tysen and his "Assistant Coach" role. He needs to step up and toss Coach out of the game.

I love the cross-tribe alliance talk on Exile with Taj and Brendan. I'm not so sure they can trust Stephen, but Sierra is a good call.

1. Debbie, Debbie, Debbie...
Debbie was very disappointing in the challenge. She was really not a good choice to be shouter, and it looked to me like she just gave up at one point. To be fair, it also didn't seem like they were listening to her, either. Voting off sarge was a bad move--it really should have been Erin. But I really disliked Coach's ranting about "people like her" and how much he hates having that kind of dishonesty and personality type in his life. Um, it seems to me that's pretty much who he is. Which may explain why he dislikes it so much.

Debbie has to be in a pretty solid alliance. She doesn't seem at all worried about her place in the tribe, and is really trying to fly under the radar. I'm still trying to figure her out.

I'm loving Taj and Brendon so far, even though I don't think Taj is going to last all that long. I love the idea of a cross-party alliance, which is exactly what the producers wanted with this exile island twist. I'm also hapy Brendon found the immunity idol.
