Survivor Tocantins: Episode 10 Discussion Thread
Wow, it goes from a GREAT episode to one of the worst of the year. It was boring and predictable. I was sad to see JT and Stephen immediately go back to Deb and Coach. Stephen is smart, yet he does not get rid of the only people who can hurt him. I thoght his comments in teh beginnign were right. Coach is not plotting something, come on.

I love the tribemate questions and the cuttign game. Ever since Marquesas when Neleh and PAscal realized they were on the outside of the finals, the challenge usually plays out well. this time, it was a waste. nothing happened. No surprises, no revelations. I was so bored. I will say I was shocked that Stephen choose Taj and JT to go on reward. One of them should have stayed back to watch the others and it should have been JT. Just like JT had to send Steven to exhile, this week he should have staed to watch Coach and Deb, or whoever was there. Bad call and it almost cost you. If Sierra was not so angry at Deb and Coach, she would have gone over and JT might have been ousted.

I did feel for Erinn on exile. It looked so cold and wet. YEt Steven did a solid by bringing her a sweater. Great move that the camera caught and it will help him next week when its 3-3, but its really 4-2, at least I think. I wonder if Taj and Erinn will get together and realize they are the only ones not in a pair and form their own pair. At some point they have to turn on JT because he is simply not beatable by anyone. I would do it after Coach or Deb was gone so you can keep your numbers, but it has to happen.

I loved Sierra calling out Deb and coach. I hoped it would turn JT, but it did not. Oh well. Another week of Coach is usually fun to watch. Overall, not a great episode, but next week will be good. I have to give props to JT, Steven and Taj. they went into the merge, after Joe left, down 6-3 and they climbed back into control. That is impressive. Steven gets most of the gameplay credit and JT gets the credit for bringing over Coach.

1. Sierra
I have the impression there are plans afoot to dump Coach and Deb at some point, and that is not the final four alliance. There was debate yesterday about when to send Deb home, so that's clearly in Stephen's mind.

I, too, was thinking JT should have stayed behind to watch over Coach and Deb while Taj and Stephen were out on reward.

I think in Coache's mind, he did not try to set up an alliance with Deb and Sierra and possibly Erinn, but he clearly did. And I don't recall him saying "No, Timbura isn't reforming" at any point in the discussion. Maybe he said it in his mind.

Not sorry to see Sierra go--she wasn't really that great of a player, and her attitude was bad. She came across as very immature. The cutting challenge was completely wasted this time around, I agree.

Stephen does need to oust JT at some point. He's just too formidable in the challenges, and everyone seems to like him too much.

Why on earth did Erinn write Stephen's name down at tribal? I had the impression they'd discussed exile strategy, and he did bring her a sweater. That had the potential of creating a tie.

2. I think its Coach then Deb
In that order if possible. JT, Steven and Taj are pretty solid and Erinn is not a threat at ICs, so she will probably stay. I think her vote said, Steven, Never again I swear, or something like that. Either Steven swore he would not send her to exhile and she is telling him thats why she voted for him, or she voted for him for sending her but she was saying she won;t do it again. I think its the former, but who knows.
Anyway, its gonna get good when they turn on JT, I just hope they turn on coach first. I am pulling for Taj to win, but JT and Steven are in the driver's seat.

3. They should have kept Sierra and dumped Deb or Coach.
Sierra is easily swayable and could be used to vote out others for a couple of more rounds. It was kind of a boring episode. I really can't stand Coach. I don't think I've ever seen anyone more in love with themselves.

4. I think he is really nuts
I'm sure he really believes he and Deb did not approach Sierra that it was only Deb. He is crazy. I dislike him more and more each week. I am pulling for Taj, Steven or JT to win.

5. That was completely boneheaded of them
Stooopid to send Sierra home!

What were the answers to the question: Who would you hate to see win this thing?

Weren't the two answers Coach and Sierra??

Doesn't that indicate that they're the ones to take to the final 2?

Yikes.

And: who would you trust with your life? JT - which means, NOBODY should want to be in the final 2 with him.

I don't like Coach, at all. There's nothing amusing to me about him.

I still like Taj, JT and Stephen.

I think Erin wrote Stephen's name so she'd have some degree of plausible deniability in case she wants to re-up with Coach and Deb. Leaving her options open, I guess.

6. Eriin's vote for Stephen
http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor/video/video.php?cid=994960635&pid=pMmK6nQJtfTIftuYaqDZUmdQnFfMTRD2&play=true&cc=121

On the cbs website they have the full video of all the votes and comments made when voting. Erinn just says she promises whe won't vote for Stephen again but she could not vote for Sierra.

7. I'm worried about JT
I picked him up front and I've never gone this deep into the game with a player. Something must be wrong. :)

I am worried though that the others will HAVE to do something about him before too long. I don't think he's won immunity yet, has he?

Oh please let Coach go tonight!
