Survivor - Heroes v. Villains - Early Thoughts - NO SPOILERS
Just to reiterate my spoiler warning. If you know anything, please don;t make any comments. Even comments intended to be benign can be spoilers if you know something.

What are your thoughts about the season. I finally went to the website and saw the cast. It looks great.

James Clement (Previous seasons: China, Micronesia)
Colby Donaldson (Previous seasons: The Australian Outback, All-Stars)
Cirie Fields (Previous seasons: Panama, Micronesia)
Amanda Kimmell (Previous seasons: China, Micronesia)
Jessica “Sugar” Kiper (Previous season: Gabon)
Stephenie LaGrossa (Previous seasons: Palau, Guatemala)
James “J.T.” Thomas (Previous season: Tocantins)
Tom Westman (Previous season: Palau)
Candice Woodcock (Previous season: Cook Islands)

Villains
Tyson Apostol (Previous season: Tocantins)
Randy Bailey (Previous season: Gabon)
Sandra Diaz-Twine (Previous season: Pearl Islands)
Danielle DiLorenzo (Previous season: Panama)
Russell Hantz (Previous season: Samoa)
Jerri Manthey (Previous seasons: Australian Outback, All-Stars)
“Boston” Rob Mariano (Previous seasons: Marquesas, All-Stars)
Parvati Shallow (Previous seasons: Cook Islands, Micronesia)
“Coach” Benjamin Wade (Previous season: Tocantins)
Courtney Yates (Previous season: China)

I'm not sure I would have put Amanda and Sugar on the heroes tribe. While they were there they played like villains. I would have had Courtney be a hero too. But oh well. Part of me is glad Amanda is back because I have had a huge crush on her since I first saw her. Part of me is mad because she sucks at the most important part of the game, getting votes. I'm hoping she stay around long enough for some good gratuitous bikini shots, then gets ousted. I predict Colby and Rob will get the ax early. both are smart players on their sides and are well known. They will be feared and ousted early. Its what I would do. I'm hoping Stephanie and James go far. I hope Coach goes early. I really dislike him and this year we don;t need him around for entertainmnet. I think Russell will do fine because no one knows him yet. He is a wild card. I see him doign well, but I hope Parv and Jerri have him for lunch when he tries to get them into a bimbo alliance.

All in all, I like the villains' chances better. I am secretly pulling for Cirie, I love that girl. But I suspect it will be the villains controlling the game.

1. Sandra
Could someone refresh my memory?

Why is Sandra on the villains team? I don't recall her being particularly villainous. Just lippy. :)

2. it may be the fish
remember, when she was expecting to be voted out, she dumped all the tribe's fish and let her alliance mate (name not coming to me right now) take the heat and get voted out next.

She's one of my favourite winners. That Anybody But Me strategy is likely how I would end up playing the game, although I most admire the way Brian won.

3. IM completely unspoiled O
the winner will either be Candice or Danielle, simply based on track record. Amber was the person everyone was saying "Who?" about for ASS, and she won. Then everyone was perplexed that Parvati was cast in FvF, and she won. So the trend is obviously an underestimated female who finished low in her original season will win.

People I expect to leave early: Boston Rob, JT, Cirie. Too damned dangerous to let these people get deep. And that will make the game less fun, as I love all three of them. The winners will probably be booted fairly early again, too.

Does anyone else remember how ASS became much less fun as soon as Rich was voted off? Everything just fell apart after that.

On paper, the Heroes tribe appears to be much stronger for challenges. I'm leaning towards Candice over Danielle because I think the winner will be the person who behaves least like their tribal designation. I.E. a hero who acts like a villain, or a villain who acts like a hero.

The funniest of all possible outcomes would be Amanda making it to F3 and losing her shit again.

Watch Rupert, Russell and Coach to absorb all the camera time while they're on the island.

I'm most curious to see how alliances play out. There are several from Tocantins back, as well as the entire F3 alliance (plus James) from FvF (Micronesia). In interviews, everyone is worried about JT and Sugar, who apparently have hooked up. JT strongly hinted in an interview that it was entirely for the purposes of a pre-existing alliance.

5. No, not Amanda
I love looking at her, but she is just so bad at this game. Maybe thats why you keep her. You know she will fuck it up at the end. To be honest, I wondered why Sandra was here and not Brian. I would add her to the list of people who I am surprised is here. though she did play the game well enough to win, so she is not really a longshot. I like your theory. I'd rather she Danielle over Candace, but either would be better than Coach or Tysen. I still say Colby goes home quick, as will Rob and JT. I hope Cirie does not. I love watching her play this game.

6. from what I gather
Brian from Thailand has no interest in coming back. Rumour has it he's the one who demanded an appearance fee to show up for All Stars, figuring that the winners would be gone first. Why tarnish one of the best performances (the best, imo) in the history of the game with an early boot?

His 5 minutes of fame should have been over a long time ago. I certainly hope he goes quickly.

Oh, wow, someone gave me a heart. Thank you so much!
