Survivor 22 Ep 12 "You Mangled My Nets"
Mike got a real hero/winner edit tonight, which sucks, as I'm completely opposed to the concept of any of the losers' on RI winning. Of course, Rob got the same treatment.

Can't wait to see Matt's reaction to Andrea's boot.

I'm getting tired of Survivor: Jesus Island. Jesus can't want all of these people to win, which means only one of them is right, if that. I can't remember so much overt religion permeating a season like this before. Do not like.

As usual, the duel was lame as possible and looked like something the build team threw together in a couple of hours. However, we finally got an epic build in the Immunity Challenge. We've seen that type of stair building before, first in Thailand (where Brian won easily), but nothing this big before. Very nice.

And Rob truly left it all out there. He was just purely exhausted at the end. I had figured Grant or Andrea was going to win.

Booting Andrea was the right decision, since the whole tribe was on board with it, so Rob didn't have to rock the boat at all. The next boot, however, will be much tougher.

I actually think he should boot Phillip. Phillip is pretty much a sure vote for Rob, and Rob can take Ashley and Natalie to F3. The reason not to take Phillip is, you know he won't get any votes. If, perchance, there's an anti-Rob mood in the Jury, the third person (likely Nat) will get votes. But if it's Nat and Ash, they split any potential anti-Rob votes, leaving Rob the possibility of winning with a plurality, even if he doesn't get the majority.

I still think Rob wins easily so long as the Redemption Island loser doesn't end up in F3.

Have I mentioned I hate the very concept of RI? It's just ruined this season.

1. Yeah, all the God talk this season is really grating on my nerves
I think Mike made a stupid mistake. Now for SURE nobody will take him to the finals, if he ever gets back in, because everybody would be afraid of him getting all the votes for this grand gesture. What a dork. But I bet he feels really good about himself and rests assured that God love him even more now.

Ugh.

I just want Rob to win it all, he's the only one that really deserves it.

5. It is obnoxious to hear all about everyone's religion
this season. I hope the producers are getting feedback from lots of people who feel the way we do. It simply is not appropriate.

Yes, Mike did take himself out of the game with that move.

I want Rob to win it all, but I am afraid that will not happen. I think there are too many people there who will take his excellent game play personally. They will vote their envy instead of their respect for his game.

Why haven't we heard from Grant? He is too quiet for someone who should be a smart player. Is he going to blindside Rob? Who else could win, besides Grant? Andrea, if she comes back from RI, or Matt.

7. I thought it was an idiot move as well and I told my sons watching...
you DAMN well better pick me over those losers if we were ever doing this. I would NOT be proud of this idiotic move! I may have been okay with him letting the other two tribemates see their relatives. But to reward the other tribe? No way.

2. WOW - Rob was AMAZING in that challenge
As a guy who is getting a bit older and is starting to realize I can't come close to doing things the way I did in my 20s and am now getting so I can't do thing like I did in my 30s, he blew me away last night. Rob is probably 35-36 and he kicked his own ass last night to get himself to finish. He left it all out there. He literally had NOTHING left in the tank. Boston Rob pushed his body to the breaking point and past it to win that immunity challenge. When he collapsed after it, I thought about how great he must feel. I mean I know physically he was a wreck, but mentally, he had to know he just did everything his body could ever do. He got 110% out of himself. What a great feeling that must have been.

One of the only things about this season that I don;t like is that no one has really stepped up to challenge Rob this season. Its really been the Rob show. He put on a show on how to play this game. I did hear Rob's comment that was a little telling, that Nat was his true alliance this year. I think he was honest in that comment. She is going to the end with him. Next week though, its gotta be Grant unless he wins immunity. You can not have grant in the game. He is just too good at these physical challenges. Rob is smarter than him, but if not for Grant making a few mistakes and bringing the wrong pieces, he won last night. Rob can;t take the change of keeping him around. If he is smart he tells Natalie and Phillip to oust Grant and lets Natalie work on her spa buddy to get her to go along with it. But that one will be the first time we see if there is an anti-rob movement in the game that MB has been hiding.

Laz, the only thing I disagree with you on is how the jury will vote if there is an anti-rob feeling. I think the Zap tribe will all talk about how they feel and all of the anti-rob votes, if any, will all go to the same person. I'm not sure Mike or the hairy farmer will vote against Rob. I think they will be blown away by him and will vote for him. The others, I am not so sure about. I think that Rob's problem will come from his own tribe. I don;t see Rob getting Matt or Andrea's vote.

I love RI Laz. I love how it changed the game. I like to make players like Rob have to think. I'm not sure his plan on RI was the best this year. Hopefully he will send Grant to RI and grant or Andrea will win the last challenge.

3. problems with RI
first, it rewards players who lost the game by allowing them back in. (And if the rumours are true, the ultimate winner of RI is inserted at the end, winning automatically, I think.)

Second, it allowed the pagonging this season. Ordinarily, reward challenges split alliances up in one of two ways. Either the whole tribe is split into two random teams, or one winner will select two people to be rewarded. Either way, this would nerf the buddy system Rob came up with, allowing at least the possibility of a change up.

Finally, so much time is spent on the losers at RI that we haven't had a chance to get to know the people still in the real part of the game, apart from Rob and Phile.

On the votes, I think David is a sure Rob vote, too. And I think the Omes will vote for Rob over Phile or a Zap. Andrea didn't seem that bitter, and seemed surprised at the little bitterness she felt. She's a hardcore fan who's watched every season, from what I've read, so she knows what's up.

Those would be the funniest wins. I love to see the long shots win.
