5. Fields inspected for a new contract and I have to get rid of some
mesquite and cedar (ash juniper). It too expensive to bring a dozer in for that small amount of work. My grazing leesee suggested using a bobcat. I don't use chemicals but have heard of a diesel derivitive which is biodegradable. Anyone know anything about this method? Just looking for some ideas. I have until the end of the year to clear the mesquite and some ash juniper(just shredding should take care of that). Since we are in the midst of a hideous drought, money is tight and these fields are not profitable for crops, so crp is the best way to use the land.

2. see below
Our fields are all under crops. We make more money than CRP would pay. We have friends that have a field or 2 in CRP. These are non
irrigated fields. Why do you ask?

4. My sister and I
have a few acres of hill farm land in the midwest and we get a small crp check yearly. The land is grown over and hasn't been farmed in 40 years. She lives on the land and keeps the money as she is not well and on very hard times.
