Appalachian Voices

The new Appalachian Voices blog is up and running! We will be covering daily environmental, cultural, and political news for Western North Carolina, and the entire Appalachian Region.

Our main focuses are on ending mountaintop removal coal-mining, clean air, and sustainable forestry. We will, however, be covering a wide range of issues, including some Ag. Issues (hog waste, farm/environment relationship, sustainability)

That's a very attractive website, well done. I am extremely interested in sustainable forestry as I own a small forest myself. Although it is not in the southern mountains do you think they would send me a copy of the handbook anyway? Thank you and best of luck with your projects there. :hi:
