Purchased my wife her first pocket knife.

I purchased a my first Kershaw knife for my wife and could not be happier with it. My favorite part is the speed safe feature, literally just a little pressure on the thumb stud and the knife swings open like a switch blade it's amazing. The balance on the blade is great and it feels extremely natural when you hold it. So far I would rate this blade equal to any of my Columbia River Knife and Tool, Gerber, some of my Benchmade and some of my Mora knives. And for the price of $60 it's an excellent investment, I am now planning on buying one for myself.
