theHunter game
I just thought I'd share this with you guys. I'm not a hunter in the least, but I got myself addicted to this game. It's called theHunter. http://www.thehunter.com/pub/

The game world is just gorgeous, and it seems to be a fairly realistic simulation (especially when compared to the other more mainstream hunting games). It's free to download and they set you up with a rifle and some ammo for free as well. You can only hunt mule deer with the free account, but if you get a member ship you get some different guns and licenses to hunt all the animals, and the memberships start at 15 bucks for 3 months, so it's a pretty good deal if your into this sort of thing.

Anyway, I hope you guys get a chance to check it out and enjoy it.!

1. Buckasaurus has fallen!...
I haven't played that game, but we'll have to start a new round of Buckasaurus in Texas. When it was my turn I had to climb up a mesa and sit under an oak and see no deer for 2 hours. Then He came out: 10 points with a 17 l/4" inside spread, 120 lbs field dressed. He now resides in my freezer. Time for Buckasaurus 2.0.

2. 120 pounds?
Where's the rest of him?

Y'all got little bitty deer down there. Nice rack though. Congrats.

3. Yeah, counter-intuitive for Texas, but big in the Hill Country...
Usually, deer in the Eastern Hill Country are considerably smaller. The land-owner said mine was the biggest deer taken off his "ranchito" since he has owned it. On-the-hoof, he would go to about 150 lbs.
