I have seen similar on other boards and thought I would bring it to the DU
What do you win…… quality time at the range with friends and family if you choose and friendly encouragement and help from fellow DU’ers and a chance to improve your skills :woohoo:
Rules
1. 50yd min for center/rimfire rifle, 25yd min for air and 15yd min for handgun kids can start at 25yds with center/rimfire rifle
2. Must take a 5 shot group
3. No requirement on caliber or action
4. No requirement on sights
5. No requirement for firing position
6. Use 9 in paper plates you can add lines/dots of any kind to help with aiming. Placing the plates on wood or sturdy cardboard will help keep your punches defined. If your range will not let you shoot plates or you don’t have any, draw the outline of a 9in plate around your target after you shoot for reference. the idea is to have a ~9 moa target at 100yds
7. Must post pictures of your plates and give info on firearm/air + distance, info on ammo is optional but if you handload you may like to swap recipes
8. We will start after Valentines Day(don’t want to get you in trouble) and end after Labor Day
9. Have FUN
This will all be on the honor system and please no putdowns on others shooting skill level. If you only hit the plate once you hit it once go for two the next time, post your best group.
