guaranteed to bring them in. It will catch anything, and is something I'm going to give away, the recipe:
One container of Turkey livers cut into small pieces. One jar of Garlic salt. One empty cottage cheese container.
Put a layer of garlic salt on the bottom of your cottage cheese container, add a layer of turkey liver, cover with garlic salt, add a layer of liver, cover with garlic salt, repeat until you have a full container, but make sure you end up with a layer of garlic salt on top.
Now, the important part, set it aside somewhere for a couple of months or longer DO NOT REFRIGERATE, the garlic salt will preserve the livers and under the first layer they'll be nice and pink. Do set them somewhere away from civilization though because this will stink. So, set them aside and forget them for a couple of months, the garlic salt will toughen up the livers so they stay on hooks easier, but some may become pretty tender, and be just the opposite.
The Garlic and liver smell will spread out and attract catfish, it's very effective, I've used this and landed some nice catfish, bluegills like it also and you may be bothered by them, if you want to catch a mess of gills, just cut the liver into very small chunks. Now's the time to be making this stuff, so that it'll be ready for catfishing this summer, good fishing.
Remember it's called fishing not catching.
