Any Minnesota Kayakers here?

And I mean either whitewater or touring, by the way. I mainly meet up with whitewater folks through rapidsriders.net but am looking for a few people to hit the lakes with.

Or if anybody wants to talk about paddling--regardless of location--I'm here for ya! :)

1. I used to do whitewater. Now I float and watch for kingfishers & herons

We had some dedicated scout leaders who used to take my troop down a class 1+ river every spring. I got hooked. I did a whole lot of whitewater in PA and WV years ago and even some trips to SC, GA, NC and Tennessee. Of late, we just go to watch wildlife and enjoy the sights and smells. We put the dog in the middle of our big canoe on her own pad. She's there for the smells.
