Anyone ever land a Steelhead?

I've fly-fished all over the Rocky Mountians, caught all kinds of trout.

But I've never fished for either Steelhead or Salmon. I'm in Washington State for awhile. I think I gotta get out there and try for a Steelhead.

1. yes, by not by fly fishing....

and not by a fishing pole either...my grandma is Haida, from SE Alaska, and they would capture them with fishing wheels...:) I was never much for fresh water fishing, there is soooo much more out in the depths of the ocean...:)
