The mission of the DU Dennis Kucinich Supporters Group is to discuss the role of Congressman Dennis Kucinich in the Democratic Party; to discuss Congressman Kucinich's policy positions, speeches and writings; to keep up to date on Kucinich's public appearances; to discuss Congressman Kucinich's signature issues of corporate accountability, tougher environmental standards, urban renewal, workers' rights and fair trade; to discuss Kucinich's innovative proposals for a Cabinet-level Department of Peace and national health care system; to discuss Congressman Kucinich's possible further political ambitions; and to provide a place for general discussion of Dennis Kucinich and other candidates inspired by his 2004 Presidential bid as a grassroots progressive. Comments by individuals who do not support Congressman Kucinich are not welcome in this group.
