I was watching the House on C-Span on 6/16 as three Republicans were trying to get a House Resolution passed that condemmed the president of Iran for being in violation of a U.N. law regarding genocide for saying (according to "quotes" in their Congressional Resolution that he said) "we will wipe Israel off the map". D.K. stood up and submitted a copy of the Iranian president's speech which was translated from Farsi to English by a Mid-East Research organization be also included in the congressional record with the resolution. Naturally, the Republicans wanted no part of that because in the translated speech, the quote used by the Republicans "wiping Israel off the map" was never said. The House then voted to suspend further debate on the resolution until some later date. As usual with Republicans, even facts have nothing to do with anything, including the writing of a House Resolution.
