Does anybody know anything about Dennis and pseudoscience?

I keep hearing all these rumors about how Representative Kucinich and his less-than-mainstream beliefs, like alien visitation, homeopathy, and astrology. Since Kucinich is clearly the best candidate before us, I would like to know as much about him as possible. Does anybody know if there is any truth to this? I have never heard any evidence for these claims, and they only ever come from people who are tearing him down, so I am a little hesitant to believe them. I figure this is the best place to go to find out the truth, since if they are true then nobody here would have a problem with those kind of beliefs and will treat the subject fairly. Thanks a lot.

1. I don't know anything at all about DK's views on

alien visitation or astrology. As far as homeopathy goes, I do know that he includes alternative and complementary medicine in HR 676:

2. He saw a UFO

So did several other presidents. He doesn't really make a big deal of his spiritual beliefs, and that's the way it should be IMO. Separation of church and state and all that.

5. Lots of people see UFOs.

Seeing a UFO is not my concern. I see lights in the sky all the time that I can't identify. My problem is when someone claims that it's an extraterrestrial being while discounting all of the much more logical, reasonable, likely explanations. I know Dennis isn't making a big deal out of his supernatural beliefs, but my concern is whether he doesn't let them inform his decisions or he's just hiding them because he knows they're not mainstream.

4. As said, he includes alternative medicine in his bill

but that includes things like chiropractic, massage, using herbs and vitamin supplements, all of which are used and supported by millions of Americans. I've read about the bill on his website, and don't recall seeing homeopathy listed per se. What I do know is that his focus is in using all methods for healing people, not just aleopathic medicine. He also stresses that alternatives should be an option, but not forced on anyone. Right now, insurance companies are dictating what an MD can and cannot do for a patient, and it is not always in the patient's best interests. Dennis makes sure that the docs are back in control of things, and that cutting edge treatments are not ignored.

Don't let the mainstream media paint Dennis as a "woo-woo". Look at his record in the House, look at his position papers at his website--they are practical and down to earth.
