2. what a great picture! dennis really is

a cute guy. i like him better with his hair longer as in this picture but he has a great smile all the time.

he'd be such a good president and elizabeth would be a great first lady, too. i think we need to change our political system so that we have several parties, as is the case in many (most?) other countries, and also determine the winner differently. it's the only way to elect real progressives. the present system is rigged against us. the media are corporatist and marginalize dennis and anyone else not approved by their bosses.

3. After reading his autobiography--

--I'm really happy that he has a stable enough life to have pets. It was just heartbreaking to read about the carelessness and cruelty that adults displayed toward dogs he cherished as a kid. Nothing like making up for lost time.

4. Oh, I love this! I heard his three-hour interview on Ed Schultz

and he talked about his dogs, all rescue, and how they have "movie nights" with the dogs...:D

I can't resist animal lovers, either, but I did wonder why he has a pup named George...:shrug:
