Let's hear it for Dennis. We need this guy in the White House.
He not only signed the letter. He voted for the motion to object to the Ohio electors. Isn't he great?

2. I hope like hell he runs in 2008
I've still got the bumper stickers on my car. I still believe he's got the best ideas for this country. I also believe that he's so unlike other politicians that the Repubs won't know what to do with him.

GO DENNIS GO!!!!

3. Still have the DoP & DK's bumper stickers on my car....
....took Kerry's off the day after the farce-election.

I wish everyone was keeping score of how RIGHT ON Dennis was about everything he's been saying the past year or more.

Please let him run again...I would work my tail off for this man (again)!

DK:yourock:
We need you!!!!!!

8. Yes, I'm proud.
I agree that we need more politicians like Dennis.

One of the things that impressed me most about him, when he was first pointed out to me as a possible primary candidate, is that it isn't just his words that are impressive. He always says what I want to hear; it's like a long drink of fresh, cool water in a desert of political side-stepping and spin. But he doesn't just say it; he does it. He acts. He shows up to support what he stands for, and he introduces legislation to support his positions.

If we had more like him, we'd actually get something done for the good of American people in Congress.

9. Did anyone see Dennis when the
House opened its session on Thursday. He was speaking about Social Security, and at the end he looked at Hastert and said "Mr. Speaker, call the cops. The American people are being robbed." I loved it. Been repeating it to everyone I see.

10. He has that effect, doesn't he?
:loveya:

It's such a rush to hear an actual legislator say the things, publicly, you've been wanting and needing to hear.

11. It was a memorable speech ......
I have noted that most people reacted very positively to it, many seemed to be actually HEARING him for the first time.

I was proud to see Dennis in the lineup of votes. He was one of the VERY FEW white faces voting with the CBC. I had expected almost all of the Progressive Caucus to join him. Sadly, they did not. Including not a single one of Oregon's reps.
