Some strategies for pushing Dennis.

Every now and then post something in the main forums on him. When you see a posting about Dennis back it up. Also jump in on the "Who would you vote for?" postings with Dennis. A lot of the people here are newer than the primaries and it would be good to let them know how great Dennis is. If Dennis's names gets left off polls, create new polls. Also, remember that the DU is heavily freeped and that the freepers have made him one of their number one enemies. So be prepared for them any time you post. Also, if you are in any other discussion groups, keep bringing his name up.

I was thinking that maybe we should get some flyers going that we could print and start taping to streetlamps and signals so we get through to the general public, too.

1. What we need to do more than anything--

--is to get local progressive caucuses going in our state and LD Dem organizations. Those are the people we have to convince in primary season.

they mean progressive. I don't want any pro death penalty, pro-coraporate warmongers running these caucuses.

3. These are great ideas

The only problem that I've had is that, after his inspiring speech at the convention, Dennis just kind of dropped out of sight. I did find a great story, in which he's mentioned, leading the effort in Congress to account for $9 billion in missing funds that were supposed to be sent to Iraq. I hesitated at posting it in GD, since it's a couple of days old. So I posted it here.:shrug:

Ever since the Convention, except for that great Helen Thomas story. No wonder the White House preferred to have Gannon-Guckert ask the questions!:-(

As for candidate-bashing, I may well have missed something, but I saw practically no criticism of Dennis on this forum. Pretty much every other candidate got bashed, for one reason or another, but it seemed to me that Dennis, and his ideals, were kind of above the fray. And no one here's ever criticized me for supporting him, either. If anything, they become more friendly. But what bad things can anyone think of to say about the peace candidate?:shrug:
