sometimes the best i can do is shoot my foot through my mouth, but reading your (and others) replies keeps me from getting too defensive. Thanks for saying what i wish i could.

just got off of the latest DK/dean flamefest. I don't understand all of the lingering hostility towards DK, except that whenever he speaks the truth it seems someone is going to take it personally affronting. :shrug:

and a big honorary mention to welshterrier too, i don't see her on this group, but reading her responses on those several threads lends support to DK's stance and message big time.

.:grouphug: Kind sentiments appreciated. I'm trying to do this Aikido style--finding a point of agreement and redirecting the argument from there.

One major point is that whether you want an exit strategy that takes a week, or one that takes five years, that is still an exit strategy. Bush does not want an exit strategy--his conquest is supposed to be permanent. Too many Dems forget this and let the Bush lie slide, which is basically what our man Dennis was on about. We need to focus on that and not beat up on the 'pottery barn' set too much.
