I gave $5 and am on his e-mail list. And he has my vote in the PA primary.

I still have my Kucinich 2004 sticker on my truck and one on my clarinet case that causes me endless grief from the trumpet section right behind me. It is all in good fun but damn! I donated and get all his stuff on myspace and boy is there a lot of stuff from him!

7. Speaking of MySpace, I added him as a friend |
|
It's nice to have a new thread for campaign developments. I like our field, but Dennis just inspires me the most.

5. Yeah, I am constantly surprised at the Kucinich bumper-stickers I see on the roads, here. |
|
Granted there are nowhere near as many as Bush/Cheney, but even a few, in this "Red to the death" part of the country is quite encouraging.

12. Did you know you can write in candidates on |
|
computerized voting machines? You push a button and type in a name, then press another button to get back to the main ballot. I have voted for Mickey Mouse and other cartoon characters in races that offered only a GOP choice. I thought about more creative choices but "Mickey Mouse" is used as an insult and I intended it to be a message that carried a bit of insult.

23. I read somewhere that PA |

tosses out write-ins. I think it was in some PA Cleansweep literature or something like that.

11. Hmm... that's always been one of my favorite |
|
Truman quotes. The other is "Always vote for the better man. He will be the Democrat."
I might have to use the "choice between a Republican and" quote in my sig line. . . think it will offend anybody?

10. I've been supporting him since 2002, |
|
when I read his speech "A Prayer for America." After that, I checked out his website and read Studs Terkel's interview done back when Dennis was mayor of Cleveland and thought "This man needes to run for president."

17. I've given money and am on |
|
a scheduled giving subscription. I don't know if I'll be able to vote for him. Depends if he stays in the race until my primary which is well beyond the early stacked part of the primaries. So I'm also checking on a second fall back candidate. Here's hoping he will gather strength and support. Democratic candidates from now on will have to earn my vote as my attitude is hardening and it can't be taken for granted anymore.

22. he gets my vote because he knows we must move beyond violence |
|
if we are to remainn viable on the earth. continued escalation of war making brings us to a predictable consequence of destruction of earth's life sustaining capabilities. dennis gets this. now the challenge is for him to help the rest of us "get it".
