1. Need some help with Salon

I simply am unable to get in to read it, and it's been that way since I got DSL. It says you click on the sponsor logo, and then you can get in. Only problem -- there is no sponsor logo for me to click (is that because of security systems on my computer that have blocked it?). Is this a problem for anyone else, and does anyone have any tips? I do like Salon, and Walter Shapiro is a great writer, but I'm shut out.

4. It's more or less the first news site

I read each day, and the one I go back to during the day for wire stories and comment. Tim Grieve sometimes drives me crazy, but overall I think his War Room updates are great summaries of news items and their implications.

There are different levels of subscription. I pay $35 a year for no ads.
