Whew! Ok, I'll simmer down now

At the time I made some of my other, more pissed-off posts, I was unaware of the content of the ammendments proposed by the Democrats, as well as the fact that they were party-line votes supported by most of the Democrats. My thanks go out to Will Pitt for informing me. I haven't been able to follow the debate since I don't get C-SPAN, and I had just assumed the worst.

I regret that, and I admit there's no use taking it out on Bill Ritter and Jay Fawcett. So, I'm going to spend the rest of the night doing something productive, but I'll check back in on this thread in case anybody wants to talk.
