1. Well congrads to him
He has the right stuff for that job. I am glad Roemer won't get it, I am not a big fan of him.

4. Hold on. The others haven't dropped out yet.
Labor didn't endorse anyone. Wonder why? Some supported Dean in the primaries. Looking good for Dean though.

5. Real good
Dean has an estimated 105 vote (see DKOS). Donnie Fowler has 15. (And Fowler just got a bad, bad report come up about his handling of the Kerry campaign in Michigan. Real bad.)

Stick a fork in it, it's done!

7. Maybe if Dean wins this thing, some of the nutjobs will accept
that the Dem party leadership does not hate Dean and that the primaries were NOT rigged against him.

9. They will... but
you won't hear a word about it.

And as soon as he does something that they don't like, out come the knives. "Howard Dean betrayed us!"

:eyes:

Nonetheless, good for him.

Edited on Tue Feb-01-05 05:23 PM by whometense
on Morning Sedition. Unimpressive, IMHO. Dodged. Whouldn't answer the question, "Why are so many black dems endorsing Dean and not you?

On the other hand, I must be a really bad dem, because I just can't get excited over this issue at all. :spank:

6. The unions that endorsed Dean weren't industrial unions
They endorsed Gephardt, Dean got hte more white collar unions like the AFSCME and SEIU which are some of the biggest unions all around. There's a struggle in the AFL-CIO right now to determine who will be President, Sweeney is having some problems, shame because I like him.

12. I was rooting for Frost
He was a good man, a great congressman, and would have made an outstanding chairman. Its a shame he's out, but Dean will make a good chairman if he gets it.

17. Martin Frost is a former Texas congressman
who fought against the redistricting of his district by Tom DeLay and his company of cronies. Even after his district included huge new swaths of Republican precincts, he fought to keep his seat. Although he lost, he managed to garner a respectable 46% and sent 4 total Democrats to Capitol Hill.
