2. Lieberman almost lost his seat!
Kerry helped take back the Congress. Lieberman is jerk!

Kerry should have been out there campaigning to the last minute for Lamont, Webb and others.

Look at Casey, he wiped the floor with Santorum!

9. All true
Also, more importantly the exit polls show a complete rejection of Lieberman's Iraq position. I assume the new Senators/Representatives know who helped them - and it wasn't Lieberman.

This is also a case where the people in the party are the people who nominated Lamont. They are not asking their representatives to be centrists and to follow Bush on Iraq. Kerry is poised with the right positions. The hypocrisy is amazing. For nearly 2 years, the entire Democratic party defended Clinton for intentional inappropriate actions that would get an executive fired in many companies, but they won't defend Kerry for flubbing a line in a speech, even when doing so would have been in the party's interest.

4. He should be happy; he's done more than anyone to make today happen
Edited on Tue Nov-07-06 11:11 PM by WildEyedLiberal
And the voters know what the hell is up. This is the same MSM that has tried to spin the GOP for six years and as tonight proves, voters aren't buying it anymore.

They can bite me too. I have CSPAN on now.

6. Guys, I just saw John Kerry on TV
He introduced Tim Murray as the new Lt. Gov of Mass. (didn't you used to have this job? LOL!) Senator Kerry was smiling ear to ear the entire time Murray was speaking.

It was a joyous night! Thank you Senator for everything you did for a State you really love. And this State loves ya right back. Several speakers, starting with Sen. Kennedy, spoke about Sen. Kerry. (A man who has given great service not just in the US Senate, but in the US Navy as well!!!!!)

He was well supported and hugely cheered at home.

Ahhhh, I am happy.

7. Lieberman lost the Presidential Primary and his own Primary
they make him out to be some victim rather than loser.

imagine if Kerry had lost a Senate Primary. 24/7 would be about them telling each other what a loser Kerry is.

and i guess they don't want to discuss the bigoted ads against Harold Ford. nothing to get outraged over that.

8. Bob Scheiffer was the "neutral" moderator
of the Domestic Issues debate (#3) - where he asked neither an environmental or an energy question. (both of which are major issues and ones that would show how visionary Kerry is.

I think it's because their theme of the night is bi-partisan and being centrists. Apparently they ignore that lots of those winners were the people sought out by Dean and Kerry.

Remember that the people who came in know who helped them. As Dylan said: "Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'.
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'
