Who Watched The State Of The Union Speech
Well I did and parts of it I laughed parts of it I cussed LOL. They showed Kerry a few times. One time he was smiling like "yeah right dumbass tell some more bullshit" , but my favorite was when literally laughed at something Bush * then started talking to whoever was next to him. Oh yeah another great moment for me.... remember the Republican asswipes booing Kerry at the inaugural well democrats booed * at his own State of the Union address LMAO! Way to go Democrats!!

* was talking about reducing the deficit and I thought what a damn joke LMAO. He inherited the strongest economy and the biggest surplus in history and fucked it up. Then I got to thinking you know that should be shocking. Why? Because the only thing * has ever been good at is inheriting things and he even fucked that up LOL.

Then he talked about junk law suits and he mentioned asbestos and I thought WTF? Why mention asbestos when talking about junk law suits? How many people have ever sued over asbestos? Then I remembered Cheney's big cronies did. No joke Halliburton sued over asbestos.

And how many if you watched noticed the he had to have a cheerleading squad so it sounded as if he was important? No damn joke it was like a bunch of cheerleader at a rally LOL. Deep in the speech Haster and Cheney looked like a couple of grumpy old men with their sourpuss looks on their face. And what I found funnier than hell was those almost forced standing ovations from the republicans. These asswipes looked like members of the Soviet Politbuto during a speech. "Applaud comrade applaud!" LOL

And when * was talking about reducing the deficit If think about it that is like a arsonist being Smokey the Bear best friend. Say one thing to your face and take gasoline and matches and destroy the forest right under your own damn nose. Bullshit! * won't reduce any damn thing except his IQ level which is dangerously low now.

And for crying out loud when are the damn repukes going to take time to teach this dumbass how to speak. They need to teach him it is "NOOO-CLEAR" not "nuke-yoo-ler". Damn already this dumb fuck is suppose to be president and can't even speak plain English. Damn how embarrassing for Americans.

And how many caught that little snide dumbass remark about allowing a up or down vote on judges. That was a deliberate remark towards Democrats and they sure as hell didn't budge or clap on that one. It was more like a go to hell look by many.

Then one thing that caught my attention was when * said something to the effect "I say to the Iranian people tonight, I stand for your liberty and America stands for you." WTF? What is this shit about? Does anyone remember the story in the New Yorker by Sy Hersh's where he talked about the U.S. preparing to attack Iran? Is this rhetoric * run up to attack?

He also said the Iraqi's were willing to fight for there freedom. I have one question...Since when? So far as we all know that has not been the case and he sure doesn't bother to mention that in his speech. Hell you would think they were fighting like hell the way he talks. I say that is pure bullshit! They don't even have enough damn people trained to fight their own battles yet so where in the hell does he get they are fighting? And if you listened to the speech that is what he made it sound like after he just got done saying willing.

The best part of the whole damn thing was at the end when Reid proved he was not believing their rhetoric and democrats would fight especially on S.S. He attacked a lot of * programs. And how many heard him repeating John Kerry's goals? Because he did LOL. I thought it was great. He talked about closing tax loopholes that give big companies tax breaks for shipping jobs overseas and instead giving them to the companies that stay and create jobs in America.

The I heard John Kerry when Pelosi spoke as well. They didn't mention his name but hell they didn't have to they are repeating exactly what he said during the campaign. She said no one wants to follow this commander in chief on National Security. Talking about * being wrong and that a large number of Iraqi have not been trained, and not enough has been done to rebuild Iraq. (who does that sound like?... couldn't be John Kerry..Nah never)

1. Pelosi's been listening to JK and that's great.
I saw the SOTU and the rebuttals by Reid and Pelosi.
I loved that part when somebody (who is that lucky man) sitting next to Kerry told him a joke and he smiled.
Kerry looked on edge and/or in the rest of that time for good reason. He knows he should be the one giving that speech and what a speech it could have been...
Also caught a brief glance of Kucinich, which sets my heart a flutter.
Pelosi loves Kerry!

3. Whoever it was next to him
they sure laughed alot during the speech and I loved it when Kerry laughed a something Bush said. I was to busy watching Kerry to study who the guy was next to him LOL. Kerry made me laugh several times. Damn I love that man he is great. And I agree Pelosi loves Kerry as well she knows a good man when she see's one LOL. And I heard Kerry's words come right out of Reid and Pelosi's mouths when I was watching the rebuttles and I loved the hell out of it! People need to lat the hell off our democrats and put their damn anger and fighting power where it belongs at * and republicans. We don't need to be fighting ourselves we need to fight the enemy!

5. I am loving that man and am proud of the Dems tonight.
Someday we will be in power and I can't wait to hear a Dem do the SOTU. You see I was too young to vote or care when Clinton was in office, so I've never seen a Dem give the SOTU.
I've lived 23 years and only seen one Dem prez, that is too sad.

2. On MSNBC, before it started, they showed him walk in and kept the
camera on him for a long, long time (during Keith's show)hugging all the congresswomen, and chatting with a lot of congressmen. I then muted the TV and made cupcakes with the kiddies, then got them to bed.

I was curious how many times they would show JK during the speech and during which parts.

I saw on DU about the booing and hissing. I would have liked to see that but now they just keeping showing the hug at the end (I don't mean the one between Joementum and Shrub).

Did you see the article in LBN about the enthusiastic Repubs and "stoney silent" Dems? It also goes through when the different moderate Repubs wouldn't stand. Interesting.....

8. LMAO
Interesting to say the least. Republicans are pissed over the booing LMAO. They havn't shut up yet about. I say go Democrats! Boo their asses some more. But I might add they haven't said a damn word about the sorry ass republicans that booed Kerry at the inaugural. I don't give a damn if it was his rich ass business friends sitting in their sorry ass first class seats. It happed and at a important event where is their rage in this? Screw these fuck wads! That bastard got a dose of what happen to Kerry. And deserved every damn bit of it. All I got to say to the republicans if you can't take learn a damn lesson and quit trying to dish it out! Because paybacks are hell assholes!

And I seen some of the republicans remain in their seat while the cheerleading squad jumped to their feet. But you couldn't see much of it the media tried to hide that part of the equasion. Couldn't let America know how many republican don't support the bastard and his dumbass agenda. Oh well they can't hide it forever. These people have to vote for his sorry ass agenda.

6. yeah I watched it too
I kept yelling at the tv though.

I missed Kerry laughing--what do you think it was about?

First * was talking about protecting small business from junk lawsuits, then he was talking about frivious lawsuits over asbestos--but the only companies that make asbestos are BIG companies! That was the theme for the whole speech--every idea helps big business in some way or other. And that audience--I expected the repubs to "sig Heil" him next! Well they did, but only with one finger. I hope they felt like the idiots they looked like.

Yeah Pelosi, Reid, and John Kerry are all on the same page--good to have unity, very good for the party.

And just think: Bush is the most hated man in the entire world! He can stand there and give a smirky speech, but he has to travel with an army and ride in a limo that is outfitted like a tank, just to keep him safe.

10. When I heard that shit about asbestos
Edited on Thu Feb-03-05 01:10 AM by angrydemocrat
I thought WTF? What is that all about? Why mention asbestos when talking about junk law suits. Because seriously how many people have sued over asbestos. And then it was like  Oh yeah that sorry ass company that all of Cheney's big buds work at were sued over asbestos. And then i thought hmmm... he just give us ammo against his sorry ass and is too damn stupid to realize it no wonder Kerry had a smile on his face. Then I started saying come on dumbass give us some more ammo! Come on we are waiting! To me this is just more proof that * taking care of the rich and big companies not the poor and small business.

11. It's a big class action thing
But you're right, it's mostly Dresser, bought by Halliburton, that has the asbestos problems.

But don't misunderstimate the right wing stooges. Mercury, asbestos, lead; it's all a bunch of reactionary hype from the liberal nanny state.
