Kerry bashing from him while he rvises history to make Kerry into the worst campaigner in history while he pretends he ran a great national strategy for the Dems from 2001- 2005.

Stay mindful that he oversaw the collapse of part infrastructures in many of the red and swing states during his tenure, as part of the Clinton-era targetted state strategy.

All Terry Mac cared about was his DC centric agenda of centralizing power with the elite in DC, because it was obvius he gave up on 2002 and 2004 on Sept 11, 2001.

would be after a minute or two of his dissing Kerry, Kerry purposely walked onto the set and asked if he wanted to say that to his face.

McAulife was head of the DNC when they lost 2000, 2002 and 2004. This doesn't give him mush room to talk. Kerry likely had the harder of the 2 Presidential races.

What's strange is that Kerry was very nice to him at the event where he stepped down. I guess Clinton attracts people who are like himself.

Begala -- famously said that Kerry "not fighting back" led people to think "well, if you can't defend yourself, how can you defend the country". Before this remark, I recall NOBODY talking about not fighting back.

Carville -- we won which means Dean's got to go!

Begala again -- that asshole from Vermont

McAuliffe -- accusing Kerry's campaign of malpractice

I really do think it's quickly shaping up to be a battle of Clintonistas/DLC vs Kerry et al. I think it explains the snarky comments from people like McAuliffe, Hillary, Begala, Carville, Brazile, etc. Depressing to think that most of these folks are regular TV commentators on Talking Head shows. . they really have had way too much influence on the Dem. "conventional wisdom" for way too long. They sure don't speak for me!

will really know who TM is and how well do you really think this book will do? We may end up giving it more PR than it deserves and draw more attention to it.
I do think however, that the comments in the book should be countered by a Kerry spokesperson.

with an agenda. McAulife has given them some red meat. Sure he will make the rounds. It can be easily pointed out that he has an agenda and he supports the Clinton's. That makes his opinion biased.
It can also be pointed out that he repeats mostly fallacies and you have to wonder why he was never quoted saying these things before.

We will need some facts,and he should be discredited simply because he has an agenda, but I think we just have to let this run its course.

14. Ah, the very existence of the liberal web is, in a way,

a chance for the grassroots of this Party to have a way to repudiate hacks like Terry McAuliffe. I am not going to pay him that much mind. There have been other books, like the one by Joe Klein and others that have maligned Democrats. This former Chairman of the Party and curretn shill for Hillary Clinton is just another in a long line of spineless bastids who want to stab other good Democrats in the back.

Thank God he is gone. Gov. Dean is doing a superb job at the DNC. Dean has the backing of the State Chairs because he actually gives a damn about the Democratic Party, unlike McAuliffe who only gave a damn about the big names in the Dem PArty and about his corporate contributors. (No, don't worry Wall St. Dems aren't serious about taking care of the poor and the middle class. That's just something we tell the chumps out there who volunteer for us. I wouldn't wish McAuliffe, Begala, Carville and Penn on anyone. They seem incapable of introspection and assessing anything that they could have done wrong. They are also, quite possibly, a pretty amoral group of people.

The latter 3 also think they are God's gift to a campaign. But if they are all geniuses and Bill Clinton, the best natural politician of all times - why were they at one point 3 out of 3 in polling and why was the race ever close. If Perot wouldn't have imploded and seemed crazy, I have no idea who would have won. (Clinton was great at the town hall debate - but not as good at the others.) Clinton was facing a Bush with an approval rating 10 points lower than Kerry's opponent. If W were down another 10 points, Kerry would have won by a landslide. (Yet Kerry and Mary Beth Cahill were pathetic)

Something doesn't add up there.

-Why didn't McAuliffe - on his own - use ALL the information available and blow the charges out of the water. As Kerry showed defending Murtha and Murphy righeous indignation for someone else plays far better.
